ABOUT US

The International Association for Volunteer Effort Philippines (formerly the Philippine Association for Volunteer Effort) is a network of organizations and individuals that promotes volunteerism as a Filipino way of life. The network is engaged in diver volunteer programs and mobilizes all sectors of Philippine society to serve others through volunteer efforts.

IAVE is a capacity builder for volunteer management and volunteering. It provides training, technology transfer and technical assistance to various organizations and institutions towards effective leadership and professionalism in management of volunteers.

It promotes strategic and extensive networking among local and international volunteer groups through its membership in the International Association for Volunteer Effort and its Volunteerism Databank.

VISION:

A community that promotes volunteerism as a way of life for a self-reliant, just and caring society.

MISSION:

To be the center for professionalizing volunteer management through advocacy, training and networking.

GOALS:

  • To link individuals and organizations engaged in diverse volunteer management programs in the Philippines, and network with international volunteer groups.
  • To develop Filipino social technologies and conduct training for volunteer managers.
  • To set-up a volunteer management resource center.
